For the chance to gain excellent experience within the hospitality industry in an amazing alpine environment, the Hermitage Hotel at Mount Cook should not be overlooked. Each summer we need an extra 100 - 150 people to join our team and ensure that our guests have an amazing, unforgettable experience in our 272 room property. We want people who will be able to handle the pace and the people with style and efficiency. Our style is relaxed but professional – so although it gets frantic, it’s also a lot of fun.
Yes, our expectations are high, but so are our rewards - our wages are competitive and staff are provided with accommodation and meals at reasonable cost. We usually start looking for people to fill our available summer season positions in August. We usually advertise in newspapers (including the Christchurch Press and the ODT) and on the Seek website (www.seek.co.nz).
