The main retail facilities in the Mount Cook Village can be found within the main Hermitage building, offering everything from Postal Services to Grocery Supplies, clothing to local Arts & Crafts. There is something here for everyone.

RETAIL CENTRE
Adjoining the hotel lobby, The Hermitage Retail Centre offers a wide range of items including many which are unique to the store.  Retail assistants are happy to package and post your goods home for you, making certain purchases tax free.

Specialising in New Zealand-made apparel, items are practical enough to be worn while undertaking activities in the mountains, yet smart enough to be worn while doing things that are much less strenuous! And you’ll find plenty of mementos to remind you of your visit to the Aoraki Mount Cook region.

The Retail Centre is also devoted to selling locally produced arts and crafts. Among these items are paintings of local scenery by New Zealand artists, hand-made paua shell jewellery, plus a range of turned wood items including bowls and ornaments made by resident artists Willy and Kaye Nunn.
